CLASSES ARE STARTING UP AGAIN AT ARISTEIA!!
Aristeia is committed to providing the best possible experience for our customers. Because of the rising COVID cases we reluctantly have to put a hold on our group classes again. This is being done to keep our customers and our staff safe. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience. We will resume classes as soon as it is safe for everyone.

Our store remains open for business and new canvases are arriving daily. We request you please social distance while in the store and facial masks are required.

If you prefer shopping from the comfort of your home we have our canvases available for purchase on our website. You can contact us through the website or call us at the store. We continue to offer a stitch guide for your piece at no charge when the canvas and threads are purchased from Aristeia.
Our finishing deadline for Christmas is SEPTEMBER 1. Any items brought in after that date cannot be guaranteed for holiday delivery.
Beverly has taught at Aristeia since the store opened. She just loves helping people make their canvases a piece of art.
She likes trying all the new fibers and techniques and adding beads and gems to really jazz up the piece. She greatly enjoys helping each student at his/her own level so that they love this hobby and the camaraderie as much as she does.
Classes are offered in five-weeks sessions.
Beverly is available for private lessons on Mondays and Tuesdays between 3:30 and 5:30. You can call Aristeia for appointments.

Monday 10-12, 1-3, and 6-8.
Tuesday 10-12, 1-3, and 6-8.
Wednesday 10-12 and 1-3.

Laura is a nationally recognized needle and thread artist, stitch guide writer and instructor. She has been one of the weekly teachers at Aristeia for 18 years. Laura enjoys working with each stitcher to help them reach their goals with each canvas and achieve their personal best. She loves to use familiar stitches in unfamiliar ways and explore the unique characteristics of each thread the shop has to offer.
Laura stays active within the needlepoint community, attends trade shows and keeps up to date with new artists, the latest designs, embellishments and thread lines that become available. She enjoys bringing fresh and new ideas back to share with class members.
In addition to teaching our classes on Thursdays, Laura is available for private lessons and teaches several of the workshops at Aristeia.

Susan Portra has been teaching and designing needlepoint since 1982. She is bringing over 32 years experience to our needlepoint industry. With many needlepoint charted designs and books such as the “Spirit of the Southwest”, “A Series of Saints”, “Odyssey” and “Infinity”: she brings her talents and experience to needlepoint lovers every where as a needlepoint artist, author and teacher.
